jealousy brings out the unusual
"You don't have to go, do you????..... " the taller boy whined holding the waist of the shorter boy who was clinging to the front door knob of Connor's apartment. "I have to go anyway, it's a baseball game. I already bought my tickets.." Taylor clasped the door knob with annoyance. Putting a head into Taylor's shoulder "When did you like baseball..?? How long is it?? Who's there??" he pouted into Taylor's ear making the boy scrunch in disgust. " When I like it, I feel like it, and who I want to go with.. Now let go I have to leave at 11:30" twisting his body from the taller boy's wrap. Connor quickly held onto Taylor's hand before he turned the knob to leave, " will you be back at least? " Taylor sighed, rolling his eyes and striking them back to Connor 'Yes.. I will be,, now let go of me "Taylor turned the knob to open the door slipping out of Connor's grasp as he loosened it for him to leave. He's gone. Connor looked around his room beginning to mope about his missing "boyfriend". Checking things he's never checked before in his apartment. Examining his kitchen he began to Look at the fridge, wiping off his counter, and readjusting his lamp. All completely unordinary things that are completely unordinary for him to do. Maybe his jealousy filled him so much that he didn't know what to do with himself. "Ding! Ding!" Connor came to a sudden stop to his consuming jealousy from a notification after an hour had passed. Long jump steps to his room from his kitchen to snatch his phone off his desk. Reget set above him when opening his phone to a dreadful sight of Taylor posting pictures on his story... With his friends...... A singular picture includes Taylor's arm wrapped around one of his friend's neck for a pose. "Ugh Baseball!!!! Baseball baseball baseball !??!! Do you even like sports !!! It looks boring there anyway!!!!" yelling at the picture gripping his hair. Circling in his room, kicking cans and tissues. " What does he know anyway huh!?!? He doesn't know you're a FAG! F-A-G FAG! He doesn't like you as I do, that's exactly why he doesn't know!" Mindlessly yelling to himself. "You're not his boyfriend!!!! You're My MYYYYYYY boyfriend!!! AGHHHHHHh" he plopped onto his bed, laying to the side returning his face back to his phone. "Baseball stupid anyways what even is it? Balls? bats? I bet you like balls you WHORE!!" typing into Taylor's reply box and un-typing it immediately. His incel mannerisms could not get the best of him although inching and eating away at his brain. Letting the next few hours pass he waited for Taylor's arrival whilst staying calm. "Knock, knock" Taylor stood taping his feet impatiently at Connor's apartment door, returning like he said he would. Creaking always came from the front door when opened but this new-sounding creak couldn't be more filled with spite. Connor's glasses seeped through the door, adjusting them slyly. " oh.. It's you.. How was the game" He rolled his eyes with an attempt to seem unbothered. " Good, now move and open the door weirdo." sticking his hand in between the door and opening it. As he let himself in Connor stood with a nonchalant look, crossing his arms and looking away from Taylor. "What are you doing man?" Taylor crossed his arms clearly annoyed with Connor's obvious tantrum. "Does he like baseball too?" Connor huffed. "Jesse? Connor,, don't tell me you're jealous of my best friend you've never met." Taylor's face palmed. "WHAT? No! I don't need to be jealous of anything,," his reaction was clear as day that he was only trying to seem unphased. "You're not my best friend, You're not even a friend" Connor's interest was slightly peaked. "So.. what am I?" lifting his head up and dramatically looking down at Taylor. "You're just, you? I guess..." The question is rather hard to answer. "How come I'm not your friend?" Connor huffed, closing his eyes. "You don't do anything I like to..BE my friend ...?" Connor shot his eyes wide and lightly gasped, highly offended by Taylor's idea. Taylor awkwardly stood, turning his back away from Connor and taking off his jacket "I'm gonna go.." He went past Connor heading into his kitchen. Standing there he uncrossed his arms, "I don't do anything you like huh?" He mumbled to himself, biting the nail polish off his fingers. Taylor walked out of the kitchen Into the living room turning to a horrid sight, terrifying even, unnatural. Cleaning. Cleaning the floor of his room. Taylor watched as Connor bent down to pick up his monster cans and tissue. Folding his unused underwear in a pile and the used ones in his basket. Taylor cringed, he hated the mess but it looked surreal seeing him clean it. " What are you doing...? " Taylor stepped towards the door frame of the bedroom. "What don't you like about it? " some sort of pettiness was in his tone, and he stopped to look at Taylor. "I - uh.." Taylor looked around to the almost finished clean room, "never mind...do what you were doing.." He turned back towards the living room. "Okay see you!" a large eerie smile came about his face. Taylor switched through the television channels whilst sitting on the couch, a strong soap aroma, cologne maybe..? He sniffed the air a bit more but didn't bother to turn around. Too strong .. it smelt almost as if a bottle of fragrance broke. "Connor?? What is that ??" covering his nose from the smell however when coming closer it smelt sweeter. Two hands crept over Taylor's shoulders "What's the matter?". A shiver stabbed into Taylor's spine making its way up to turn his head. The sweet smell was coming from the looming boy behind him. "All I did was take a shower,," Taylor knew he wasn't lying, he could've just put on cologne over his stench but the evidence was undeniable. Connor's curl pattern was in its original state, there was no underlying musk he could smell either... he was telling the truth. "OKAY MAN, what is with you ? "Taylor moved his hands from Connor's hands. "I'm just doing stuff that you like, that would make us friends" Connor crossed his arms displeased by Taylor's outburst from his nice gestures. Taylor sighed and cupped his face into his hands. 'Look, Connor.. I guess you're gross,,, or like creepy or whatever but.." he furrowed his brows trying to think of what to say next. "But what?" Connor's face was still disgruntled. "You don't have to do these things, to be my friend or anything ..! you're just you? You know?" Taylor turned back to him. A puzzled look crossed Connor's face, tilting his head. " You're you and I don't know how to explain what you being you is but it is better than this.." Taylor's face softened with a sincere look. Connor hugged him from over the couch wrapping his hands around his neck. Taylor placed his face into Connor's curls. "Do you mind?" Connor spoke into Taylor's ear, "Mind what?" puzzling Taylor. Pulling taylors head out his hair softly kissing him. "Hmgh!" The kiss tasted like toothpaste but almost too much.. Delicately putting one of his hands on the back of his head to bring their tongues together. A rush of mouth-eye-burning amount of mints entered Taylor's mouth. "AGHHHH" Taylor pulled back to spit them all out. "HEHEHEHE GOT YOU!!"
